This year, SMS students had the chance to join crochet camp. There were a few students that knew how to crochet and some beginners that learned to create a chain, magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, and how to increase. Miss Wibbenmeyer is so proud of how much these students learned and grew.

Alt School Graduates 2025

Monday night we had the privilege of celebrating the incredible journey of our alt school students — each one has taken a unique path, overcome challenges, and grown into confident, capable individuals ready to take on the world. This is a testament to their resilience, creativity, and never-give-up attitude. Congratulations to the Class of 2025 — your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see where you go from here!

Hey, Cardinals! With Facebook's new guidelines regarding deleting Facebook Live videos after 30 days, we wanted to download our video from Sunday and share it here in a Google Photo album. There are two versions of the same video: One is HD and the other is SD.
Congratulations to all of our 2025 Graduates!!!

One of our favorite things we do is give SHS students the chance to serve as "cadets" in classrooms throughout the district. Mrs. Martin, one of our amazing SES Kindergarten teachers, sent us this message about her cadets for the year, SHS students Lauren and Izzy:
Last week we celebrated our high school cadets. We have loved having both Izzy and Lauren in our classroom this year. We wish them the best of luck at graduation on Sunday. We know they will both do great things after high school.

As we celebrated our Spring Sports Senior Nights, we were reminded of how much love, support, and dedication surrounds our programs. To the parents and guardians, thank you for every early morning, late night, and long drive. Your support has helped shape our seniors into the athletes and young women they are today.
To our fans: your energy and encouragement have created a home-field advantage like no other, and we’re grateful for every cheer, every clap, and every moment you’ve been with us.
To our seniors: thank you for leading with heart, giving your all, and leaving a legacy of grit and teamwork. You will be missed, but your impact remains.
Go Cardinals!

Over the past couple of weeks, SES paraprofessional, Ms. Green, spent time interviewing our Class of 2037! She asked each kindergartener a few questions and put together this sweet video. Please take a moment to follow the link below and watch these little cardinals! We know that time flies, and in the blink of an eye these little Cardinals will be walking across that stage at their own high school graduation, and that makes this video all the more special. Please enjoy!

Some of the students in the 7th grade Leadership Group wanted to present to 6th grade a presentation they created about Suicide Prevention. They have been researching for months to help students know facts, preventions, and to let their peers know that they cared about and to inspire them never to give up. We are very proud of this hard working group and proud of our 6th graders for being so respectful and attentive during their presentation!
