Hey, Cardinals! We want to continue sharing returning staff members who are moving to new positions within the district! Lana Mabe will be moving within SHS from Business Teacher, a position she has held for the past 18 years, to High School Counselor! Mrs. Mabe enjoys spending time with her family, whether it's traveling or just hanging out! When asked why she chose Steelville, Mrs. Mabe said, "I'm so excited to start a new chapter as the high school counselor at Steelville! This isn't just a career move -- it's personal. Steelville is my hometown, and I'm proud to continue serving the district and community that means so much to me. I'm ready to support our students and show what true Cardinal Pride is all about!"
