We are excited to introduce you to our brand new staff members for the 2025-2026 school year! Over the next couple of weeks, we will begin posting each of our new Cardinals, so stay tuned for all of the introductions! Next up, we would like to introduce our new SMS Band Director and SHS Band and Choir Director, Matt Sokeland! Mr. Sokeland enjoys performing in two bands, riding motorcycles, traveling with his wife, and being active in his church. When asked, "Why did you choose Steelville?", he said, "I am very excited to re-enter the classroom at a school with a strong tradition of musical excellence!"
