Hey, Cardinals! We have just a couple more returning staff members who are taking on new roles within the district to share!

Great things are happening at our elementary and middle schools! We're excited to share that two of our incredible teachers are stepping into new Administrative Intern roles. This opportunity allows them to continue their valuable work in the classroom while also contributing to the administrative leadership of our schools. We're proud to support their professional growth, and we look forward to the positive impact they'll have in both capacities!

Ethan Blacksher will be taking on this role for SMS in addition to his teaching duties! Mr. Blacksher enjoys learning about history, perfecting the art of smoking meat, watching the Royals, and being outside with his family!

When asked why he chose Steelville, Mr. Blacksher said, "I hope to one day move into a full-time administrative role. I chose this opportunity to continue my education in the educational administrative field while getting to learn from a great principal!"

Beth Setzer will be taking on this role in addition to her teaching role at SES! Mrs. Setzer enjoys time with her family, going to concerts, riding her three wheeler, hiking, and sitting around bonfires! When asked why she chose Steelville, Mrs. Setzer said, ""I chose Steelville for my kids. I wanted them to have opportunities in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Another reason I chose Steelville is for the community. I knew that this community supports the school and wants what is best for their kids."
