A peek inside Mrs. Booker's Foreign Language Club meeting: "Foreign language club met yesterday for our first meeting. We have big things planned this year. We plan to do a decorated trunk for the Trunk or Treat event in town. We also are planning to do quarterly meetings where we will learn greetings in four different languages and sample foods from those countries. We also plan to go to a Latin dance festival in April for our annual field trip. Our Foreign language club President, Gavin Griffith, did an amazing job organizing all of our events for this year, and our secretary/historian, Bella Cardoni, took notes at our meeting and organized our T-shirt orders! The group is very excited, and it’s going to be a busy year for all of us! My treasurer, Lauren Mathews, collected and organized our dues and fees and is planning a fundraiser so that we can make everything possible! What a great group we have! "
Great work, FLC! We are so excited to see all of the fun things you have planned for this year!!!

This morning, we want to recognize one of our wonderful SHS staff members, Ms. Susan Bunch! Ms. Bunch is the Administrative Assistant in the SHS Office.
Ms. Bunch, a Steelville High School grad herself, enjoys spending time with her family, including her kids, Dylan, Maggie, and Claire, and her pets, RustyBuck, GracieLou, and Timithin the cat! Her hobbies are hunting, fishing, and cooking. She loves desserts, diet coke, Fall, old country music, and traveling to the mountains!
When asked for a piece of advice, Ms. Bunch said, "Dream big, work hard, and live your best life."
Thank you so much for everything you do for our district, Ms. Bunch! We really appreciate you!
